ICE London, a major event in the year for iGaming industries, is just done and dusted. But before the dust has even settled, big gaming providers are already pushing their up and coming new slots. One of these is Yggdrasil Gaming – one of the top providers for Canadian players. During ICE, Yggdrasil announced the launch of three new slots over the coming two months. Now that's really something to look forward to.
We'll be publishing full reviews of each slot once we know more about them. But for the time being, a quick summary should be enough to get some excitement going. We can't wait until we get our hands on the free-play versions of these slots! We'll share them straight away.
Easter Island is mostly known for its mysterious Easter Island heads. In fact, their historical narrative is still a topic of debate to this day. The slot from Yggdrasil really delivers on the entertainment factor due to the two animated Easter Island heads on each side of the reels. They talk, they make sounds of amazement, and they're just generally fun to watch.
Of course, one of the best aspects of the heads is that they bring a lot of special features to the gameplay. Respins, symbol swapping, expanding reels, and more. The slot can even go up to 103 paylines during a special feature. We can already feel the anticipation for this slot growing.
Release date: March 22nd.
Vikings Go to Hell
Vikings Go to Hell is the third and final installment to Yggdrasil's viking series: Vikings Go Wild and Vikings Go Berzerk. This time, our heroes are standing off against the most hellish evil of all. Players will be pleased to know that the new slot retains a lot of the same features. The hero fights in the free spins mode still give sticky wilds, and the treasure chest will also feature again (although, more frequently). The added bonus is that the fight feature can also be triggered in the base game, not just in free spins mode.
During the fight feature, the heroes go up against demons right at the gates of hell. In free spins mode, the heroes enter hell to fight some demonic overlords. If you manage to defeat an overlord on the first spin, the player will immediately be taken to the final boss battle against the commander of all darkness.
Release date: February 15th.
We don't know much yet about Lucha Maniacs, except that it's going to be themed around Mexican lucha libres. That can only mean one thing in our book – some crazy Wild features! Thunderkick has done something similar to this in its Luchadora slot. And, admittedly, it's a hard slot to beat. But we're sure Yggdrasil will put its own twist on it. We'll be looking forward to it, that's for sure.
Release date: April 24th.
