This follows a licence that was awarded by the UK Gambling Commission at the end of 2015 but this was to their infrastructure in Malta. This license from Gibraltar is of great essence to Yggdrasil. They have had substantial success with the Malta license which has contributed to business working out well for them in offering their services to The UK and other jurisdictions.

The reason why they are happy with this new license is because Gibraltar is a large licensing player and has a wide array of operators. This means that Yggdrasil will be able to work with these operators and reach a large audience in the world of online gambling.
