conan-netent

Are you ready for some blood and gore on the reels of NetEnt’s latest slot game? Well prepare to don your armour cos things are about to get seriously barbaric up in here.

In a recent announcement at ICE last week, the software giant revealed that it has secured the rights to the mythical hero known as Conan the Barbarian to feature in its newest slot game. The character of Conan has features in numerous films, books, comics and video games over the years, rising to popularity through the hit 80s film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now, NetEnt will be giving him a makeover as he takes to the reels with new style and image that is so typical of the software provider.

The game will be sorcery-themed so you can expect lots of sword-wielding from Conan and a lot of exciting, barbaric action on the reels.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR

The Conan slot game will be just another addition to NetEnt’s exclusive licensed game portfolio, which currently includes fan favourites such as  Jumanji™, Planet of the Apes™, Vikings, Guns n’ Roses™, Motörhead ™ and Jimi Hendrix™, among others.

According to Bryan Upton, director of Games at NetEnt: “Conan is a character and a brand with a fantastic history and legions of fans all over the world. We are honoured to be creating our own adaptation of Conan and can’t wait to give him the hallmark NetEnt treatment.”

While NetEnt is keeping everything on the down-low for the time being and we have no official details regarding when the Conan slot game will be launched, we’ll be watching out for any new information over the next few weeks and keeping you posted about it, so be sure to watch this space!
