Theme & Background
The background of Ninja Magic portrays a huge yin yang symbol with our male and female ninja characters placed in front of it. Once into the game, there’s really not much background to look at, just some blue shading present on the left side of the screen and brown shading on the right side of the reels. The reels are contained within a steel frame full of rivets and surrounded by the pay line numbers available that have been presented next to the frame on the outer rim of the screen. The control section, located below the reels, is blue and white in colour with the autoplay button in yellow while the spin button is red in colour. The symbols are presented in front of a white backdrop with the Ninja Magic logo portrayed above the reels.
The two heroes of the game also play the part of symbols and come equipped with action animations should they assist you with a win. The Scatter symbol is a golden pot filled with gold and jewels, whilst the Free Spins symbol is represented by a Japanese pagoda. Spin 3 or more and the pagoda will loom large, before you suddenly find yourself within and confronted by large and dangerous bugs!
Ninja Magic offers plenty of gameplay options to allow players to truly tailor the experience to their preference. All the main options and functions are available from the bottom of the screen.
First up is the Balance tab. By expanding the tab you can select to view your balance in cash, coins, or coins and cash. By opening up the Bet tab you can select your coin value and the amount of coins in play, as well as simply selecting max bet if you’re deciding to ditch stealth tactics. Alternatively, you can make use of the huge parameters to perfectly tailor the betting amount to a comfortable level, no matter the amount of cash at your disposal.
The next tab, the win tab, offers a feature that is really quite cool when expanded. Once opened, you can view both your top 5 wins and a list of your most recent wins. There’s also the option to view in both coins and cash.
Next along is the “Autoplay” feature that has set default spin amounts, or the option to customise it based upon a number of spins or a win amount. Finally you have a straightforward spin button.

Enter the Pagoda and you’ll unlock some fun as you shoot down the giant bugs that stand between you and a fortune. The potential rewards at stake in this part of the game are huge thanks to the additional free spins and multipliers that can be found so you’ll be on the edge of your seat for every bug shot. Unfortunately though, once you leave free spins, your back to the slog of the base game.
