The Slotfather is here, and he’s about to make you an offer you can’t refuse. In fact, the tagline for this slot is: ‘I’ll offer them a jackpot they can’t refuse’. Shoving the sheer cheesiness of this line aside, we wouldn’t mind winning the jackpot on this slot which can sometimes reach the high thousands. Slotfather has flexible betting options, a lot of special features (including free spins and bonuses) and a cool design. It’s of high variance and comes with a great RTP of 97.91%. Probably one of Betsoft’s better products. For sure, not to be missed out on. Go toe to toe with the Slotfather himself, and you just might come out on top. Read the below review for all the inside tips you need to take down the big guy.
Can you say: progressive jackpot win? You can’t get much more of a ‘pro’ than that, fratello mio. Being part of a mafia family has its perks, and getting rich is one of them.
The Sneaky Instant Win feature is really cool, because, like the Bonus Round, it can award the player with a significant bonus win. Without ever triggering the jackpot!
Flexible bet levels make it possible to play this high volatility slot without also breaking the bank. Make sure to have some kind of game-plan before going in.
The progressive jackpot win can only be gained if you play at maximum bet level (which is $150/spin – yikes!).
It’s difficult enough to land 3 Slotfather symbols to trigger the Bonus Round, let alone 5 symbols to trigger the jackpot.
Despite the flexible bet levels, a highly volatile slot will still spend your money super fast if you’re not careful.

Theme & Background
Think Mafia, criminal underbelly, and maybe some second generation Italians. Oh, and slot gaming. Mix it all together, and what do you get? The Slotfather. Not only does it make rain bullets, but it also makes it rain by throwing some cash your way. Now that’s a Mafia boss we can get behind.
Anyone can tell what film inspired this slot just from looking at the name. And, honestly, we were a little concerned that the slot wouldn’t live up to the cult classic. But we were pleasantly proved wrong.
The Slotfather has those 3D graphics now well associated with Betsoft. There’s a lot of detail in every inch of the slot – from the background, to the opening scene and cut scenes of the features, down to the minute animation of the individual characters. It’s totally immersive and a blast to take a spin on.
Aside from the Slotfather supreme, the Capo, himself, there are three other characters in the slot. There’s also the Underboss – who answers directly to the big boss. Then there’s Sammy Quickfingers and Frankie Da Fixer. It’s no mystery where these guys got their nicknames from. But, more importantly, they play a pretty significant role in those special features. More on that below.
One of the things we love about The Slotfather is that, even without the progressive jackpot win, it’s a dang fun slot to play. Mostly because of the creativity of its special features.
There’s a lot of ground to cover here, so hold on to your expensive Rolls Royce, and here we go.
Explore The Slotfather Symbols
Sneaky Instant Win
If the Sammy Quickfingers symbol lands on the reels on either side of the Briefcase symbol, it triggers the Sneaky Instant Win.
Sammy, being the sneaky bugger he is, will reach out of his symbol frame and grab a whole wad of cash from the Briefacase symbol. He’ll then sneak that money back into his frame. This grants the player an instant bonus win of a random amount. That Sammy, what a class act.
Multiplier Mob Free Spins
Move over Sammy, here comes Frankie. If the Frankie Da Fixer symbol appears on either side of the Tommy Gun symbol specifically on lines 1, 2 and 3, it triggers the Multiplier Mob Free Spins feature.
Frankie will then proceed to pick up the Tommy Gun and shoot up the slot screen with a shower of bullets, leaving holes in the screen. The player must then pick and click on one of the holes to be rewarded with a random amount of free spins and a random multiplier. Throughout the duration of the free spins, all wins will be multiplied by that random multiplier amount.
The Underboss always pays back what he owes. Land 3 or more Underboss scatter symbols anywhere on the reels, and you’ll instantly win up to 500 coins. Not exactly a bonus, but – hey – we’ll take it anyway.
If you somehow manage to land 3 or more Slotfather symbols on the reels, you’ll trigger the Bonus round feature. The player will sit down with the Slotfather and all his family, and he’ll shove a big briefcase towards you.
Explanation? ‘You’re a good earner’, according to the Slotfather. Don’t ask questions, just take the money and leave.
And here it is – the cherry on top of the cake, the main act of the show. How do you get that bountiful progressive jackpot win?
Simple, and also not so simple at the same time. 1. You have to be playing at maximum bet, meaning on all 30 paylines, at bet level 5, with the 1.00 coin ($150/spin). 2. Land 5 Slotfather symbols on the reels.
Ba-da bing, ba-da boom – the jackpot’s yours. That should be enough to fill up your gas tank for a while. Good luck getting those 5 Slotfather symbol though.
Payouts and Wagering Limits
Given that the slot has adjustable paylines and 5 different bet levels, there’s a lot you can do with the amount you wager per spin. The least being $0.02 (on 1 payline, at the first bet level, with a 0.02 value coin). The most being $150 (on all 30 paylines, at the fifth bet level, on a 1.00 value coin). Of course, even if you can enjoy all the other features the slot has to offer with just a $0.02 bet, you can only win the jackpot playing at $150. Which is why this slot is more suitable for high-rollers if you’re looking to win the jackpot.
According to the paytable, the higher paying symbols still have a great payout in the main game. This means that, even without hitting the jackpot, it’s worthwhile to give The Slotfather a try. We assure you, it’s too fun to pass up.
In addition to all this, the slot has an RTP of 97.91% – which is actually quite high for a progressive jackpot slot. Most slots average at around 96%, so you can see that the 2% difference is significant in this case. The hit frequency on the special features is also decent enough to keep the gameplay moving and exciting for the player. Just remember, if you aren’t a high-roller, keep your bankroll in check and know when to quit while you’re ahead. It is a highly volatile slot after all. Things tend to be highly volatile when you’re working for a mafia boss and his family.
All in all, this slot was a real treat to play. The work put into this slot is truly impressive, and it clearly pays off in the way the entire slot works as a whole. Not only is the design concept and animation awesome, but so is the gameplay.
We couldn’t recommend this slot enough. Check it out at one of our recommended casinos so that you can hurry up and join the (virtual) mafia. You could become a ‘big earner’ in no time, which only means that big money could be in your future. An offer we can’t refuse? Yeah, guess so.
